A 31-year-old woman from La Loche was killed Wednesday when two pickup trucks collided near that community.
According to the RCMP, the crash happened at around 1:40 p.m., on Highway 955 north of La Loche.
Police said the driver of one of the trucks was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The Mounties said three passengers in that truck were taken to hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
The driver and lone occupant of the other truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries, police said.
