A number of Helly Hansen sweaters and hoodies have been recalled due to what Health Canada called a “flammability hazard.”
According to Health Canada, 128,680 of the affected items were sold in Canada between August 2019 and August of last year.
Health Canada said anyone with one of the affected articles of clothing should immediately stop wearing it and contact the company.

“The affected products, which incorporate brushed cotton fabrics that have undergone a specific treatment, either do not or may not comply with the Textile Flammability Regulations,” Health Canada said in its notice.
Health Canada said that as of Jan. 9, Helly Hansen hadn’t received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the affected products in Canada or anywhere else.
