The Regina Pats couldn’t start off an Alberta road trip with a win, but did manage to get a point in the standings.
Regina was beaten 6-5 in overtime by the Red Deer Rebels on Tuesday night.
Connor Bedard extended his point streak to 34 games with a goal and two assists in the game. Regina also got goals from Alexander Suzdalev, Sam Oremba and two from Borya Valis.
Ben King had a pair of goals for the Rebels, who got singles from Kai Uchacz, Craig Armstrong, Jayden Grubbe and Jhett Larson.
It was the first of four Alberta games for Regina this week.
The Pats’ next game is Wednesday against the Hitmen in Calgary.
