The Siberian Express appears to be on its way out of Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada lifted its extreme cold warnings for some areas of the province Tuesday morning, including Regina and areas in the southeast.
Warnings remained in place for some regions, such as Yorkton, Melville, Kamsack, Canora, Humboldt, Lanigan, Melfort, Tisdale, and areas in the far north.
Environment Canada’s forecast for Regina on Tuesday said the high will be -17 C with a wind chill of -21 C. The forecast high for Wednesday is -13 C, with a wind chill of -19 C in the afternoon.
In Saskatoon, the forecast high for Tuesday is -16 C with a wind chill of -22 C. The high for the Bridge City on Wednesday is expected to be -17 C with a wind chill of -31 C in the afternoon.
The weather service says that after a chilly day Thursday, the mercury will rise across Saskatchewan on Friday.
