The City of Saskatoon and Arbutus Properties have reached an agreement for the development of 2275 Meadows Parkway in Rosewood to potentially move forward.
“The agreement resolves the financial matters between the two parties while at the same time protects City infrastructure and the property of current and future residents,” the city said in a release.
The city didn’t specify exactly what that looks like, but stated more will be discussed by city council on Wednesday at its public hearing meeting.
Council previously voted to reject a request made by Arbutus Properties to remove restrictions that the company felt impeded its ability to continue developing the parcel of land in the Rosewood area.
That decision, the company said at the time, may have had an impact on another of its projects — a central downtown grocery store.
