A Saskatoon man is facing charges related to sexual assault and child pornography.
According to police, members of Saskatchewan’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit began investigating the man last month, and on Thursday executed a search warrant at a Saskatoon home.
As a result, police said, 44-year-old Jeric Villareal Mendoza was charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, accessing child pornography, making child pornography, and luring a child.
He’s being held in custody, police said, with a court date set for next week.
