The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Friday they had signed former B.C. Lions defensive back Austin Joyner.
The 25-year-old started five games with B.C. during the 2021 CFL season, making 18 tackles.
The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Joyner played four seasons with the University of Washington Huskies before turning pro.
In 29 collegiate games, he recorded 56 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, three pass knockdowns and one fumble recovery. He also returned eight kickoffs for 98 yards.
