The CFL team announced Friday it had signed Kendall Watson, a 5-foot-10, 183-pounder who played five seasons at Samford University.
The product of Chattanooga, Tenn., played 47 career games as a Bulldog, making 167 receptions for 2,064 yards and 14 touchdowns.
In his senior season, Watson caught 88 passes for 1,034 yards with 10 TDs and was named second-team all-Southern Conference.
