8:30 – The House of Commons heritage committee is currently in the process of amending Bill C-18, which would force Google and Facebook to share revenue with Canadian news publishers. Facebook has threatened to remove news from Facebook in Canada rather than being compelled to submit to government-mandated negotiations.
