Police in Saskatoon believe the man whose body was found in an alley Wednesday afternoon was the victim of a homicide.
According to police, the 50-year-old man’s remains were discovered by a passerby in an alleyway near 20th Street West and Avenue C South.
The victim’s family has been notified of the death, and police said they will not be releasing his name publicly.
Police said the death is “the city’s 12th homicide incident and 13th homicide death of 2022.”
Anyone with information on the death or video evidence that might help investigators was asked to contact police or make a report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
