A 34-year-old Saskatoon man is facing a lengthy list of criminal charges after police searches turned up hundreds of grams of meth along with weapons, cash and other drugs, including fentanyl.
According to police, the man was arrested on 33rd Street West on Wednesday afternoon. Inside his vehicle, police found three different drugs: Methamphetamine, fentanyl and hydromorphone, along with cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Police later searched the man’s home on Fairmont Drive, where they found $5,300, 339 grams of methamphetamine, 36 grams of fentanyl and 43 hydromorphone tablets. The officers also seized bear spray, a knife, a “conducted energy weapon,” drug paraphernalia and ammunition for three different kinds of guns.
The suspect is now facing charges including drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime and possession of a dangerous weapon.
