Three Saskatoon high schools will get the chance to fight for the trophy when the Bedford Road Invitational Tournament (BRIT) takes to the court for the first time in three years.
The past two versions of the high school basketball tournament were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Holy Cross, Walter Murray and St. Joseph earned their spot in the high tournament through play-in-games on Wednesday night.
Play-in results:
Holy Cross 82 Bethlehem 45
Walter Murray 81 BJM 44
St. Joes 68 Aden Bowman 53
Bedford Road gets an automatic berth into the tournament as host and the remaining eight teams will be from B.C., Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
The 53rd BRIT is set to take place from Jan 12-14.
