Saskatoon residents once again stepped up and answered the call at Christmas time.
This year’s 650 CKOM’s Adopt-A-Family campaign brought in more than $93,700 in cash, food and gifts.
As a result, hundreds of families will experience a special Christmas.
This year the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon provided support for 50 families, and donated an additional $1,500 so the Salvation Army can purchase resources to help more families.
650 CKOM’s Adopt-A-Family program started in 1988.
For 34 years 650 CKOM’s Adopt-A-Family campaign has been encouraging businesses, families and individuals to ‘adopt a family’ by raising money to purchase food and gifts for less fortunate Saskatoon families through The Salvation Army.
