A 13-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital Tuesday morning after he was hit by an SUV near the Northeast Swale.
According to police, officers were called at around 8:15 a.m., to the intersection of Central Avenue and Fedoruk Drive. There, they found the boy who had been struck.
He was taken to Royal University Hospital for treatment of what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
There wasn’t any word about potential charges. The police said more information would be provided when the investigation is complete.
