8:30 – Another 230 Ukrainians are now calling Saskatchewan home. The fourth flight from Ukraine arrived yesterday in Saskatoon. Elena Krueger, president of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Saskatchewan Provincial Council is here to tell us more about the UCC’s involvement in helping the newcomers to Saskatchewan.

9:30 – A Regina city councillor is taking the city manager to court over the decision not to include an item on homelessness in the current proposed budget. The court application was filed by Coun. Dan LeBlanc, who is a lawyer, on behalf of Coun. Andrew Stevens and Florence Stratton, a resident of Regina. Regina Mayor Sandra Masters is here to explain what’s happening at city hall.

10:00 – Construction on a downtown grocery store in Saskatoon isn’t going ahead as planned. The developer, Arbutus Properties is putting the Pitchfork Market + Kitchen grocery store on pause after city council voted against a request from Arbutus to remove the holding symbol on some land in Rosewood where the developer wanted to build an apartment tower. Jeff Drexel, president of Arbutus Properties joins Gormley with the latest on their dispute with the city and if they could be heading to court over it.

11:00 – Tomorrow is Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping days of the year. It was once just a U.S. thing but in recent years Canada has adopted the additional day to save at retailers. David Ian Gray of retail consulting firm DIG360 has been tracking Black Friday for more than a decade and he joins Gormley to discuss how much Black Friday has expanded in Canada, how COVID changed the way we shop online, and is it just me or is Black Friday not just one day but a weeks-long event?

12:00 – A University of Saskatchewan researcher is building a database to uncover the whereabouts of the secretive and elusive prairie cougar, and she’s asking the public to submit reports of cougar evidence.
