Saskatoon police are investigating a homicide in the city’s downtown early Saturday morning.
Police say just before 3 a.m., officers were called to a business in the 200 block of Third Avenue South for a report of a 23-year-old woman suffering from a serious injury.
When emergency crews got to the scene, they found the woman with life-threatening injuries. Despite lifesaving efforts, the woman died a short time later. Her name has not been released.
A 22-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.
Police say the two women knew one another.
