Another construction season has drawn to a close in Saskatoon, but the city is already hinting of what’s in store for drivers next year.
The city says both sides of the Circle Drive North Bridge will under go renovations next year. The project will begin in early spring and could continue into 2024.
“Construction will have an impact to commuters using the nearly 40-year-old bridge,” the city said in a release.
“One side will accommodate two-way traffic while the other side is rehabilitated.”
The pedestrian bridge underneath will not be affected.
During the 2022 construction season the city completed $64 million worth of projects including roadways, sidewalks, water mains and service connections replacements in older neighbourhoods.
The city will announce their full list of construction projects in the coming months once the city’s budget is finalized.
