RCMP are looking for suspected carjackers after three incidents in the Prince Albert area on Sunday.
Police said around 4 p.m. three males armed with a firearm approached a driver in the Christopher Lake area and stole a 2015 black Dodge Ram with Saskatchewan license plate 012 IZK.
The suspects were reported to be wearing bandanas across their faces and hoodies and drove away in the stolen black truck as well as a white truck. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
Earlier in the day, there was a report of an attempted carjacking on Little Red River First Nation.
Two males armed with a firearm and bear mace attempted to steal an occupied vehicle. The driver was able to get away and was not injured. The suspects were again reported to be wearing bandanas across their faces.
Mounties are also investigating a vehicle theft on Sturgeon Lake First Nation that is believed to have happened on the same day. An older model white Ford F150 was stolen with Saskatchewan license plate 113 MUL. Police are not sure if the vehicle was occupied at the time.
The RCMP believe the incidents may be related, and are asking residents in the area to be cautious and report suspicious activity.
