A man and a woman from Saskatoon are facing numerous charges after being arrested for drug trafficking last week.
On Thursday, police spotted the duo engaged in a suspected drug deal. The two suspects — a 42-year-old man and 39-year-old woman — were both arrested nearby.
During the arrest, police seized a large amount of drugs and cash, including $20,269 in Canadian dollars, $276 in U.S. dollars, 224.7 grams of cocaine, 518.3 grams of crystal meth, 704.5 dilaudid tablets (also called hydromorphone), and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Police also seized two vehicles, a 2009 Hyundai Genesis and a 2013 Lincoln MKX.
Both suspects are facing a long list of charges related to drug trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime, police said.
