It was a hot one around the province Wednesday, and in six parts of the province, it was the hottest Aug. 31 ever recorded.
According to preliminary data from Environment Canada, heat records for that day fell in Elbow, Hudson Bay, Lucky Lake, Maple Creek, Meadow Lake and Rockglen.
