A 29-year-old man turned himself in to police Tuesday to face charges related to child pornography.
According to police, officers with Saskatchewan’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit — a special task force comprised of police from multiple agencies around the province — executed a search warrant at a home in early June after an investigation found child pornography was being distributed over a popular social media platform.
After their investigation and search, officers charged Michael Sutton with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of making child pornography available to others.
Sutton turned himself in and made his first appearance Tuesday afternoon in a Saskatoon courtroom, police said.
