A year after a suspicious death in Saskatoon was deemed a homicide, police are renewing their calls for help from the public.
According to police, 39-year-old Kelly Dean Quewezance was found unresponsive near Spadina Crescent West on Aug. 22, 2021. A passerby flagged down firefighters who were responding to a nearby fire and directed them to Quewezance, who died despite receiving first aid. The cause of death was never released.
Police said his death was later deemed a homicide. Officers are still investigating the case a year after it happened, and urged anyone with information to come forward.
“Investigators are asking anyone who knows something to say something,” police said in a news release.
