A 48-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in Saskatoon over the weekend.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, officers responding to a call about a stabbing in the downtown found the victim on a trail near the South Saskatchewan River in the 600 block of Spadina Crescent.
The man was taken to hospital by paramedics.
The Serious Assault Unit is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
