8:30 – The Saskatchewan Government is planning to send people to Alberta for privatized surgeries. They will be paying a clinic in Calgary for 20 knee and hip surgeries to take some pressure off of the growing surgical wait list. Although this may lead to faster surgery times, the travel expenses won’t be paid by the government. Saskatchewan Health Minister, Paul Merriman shares more.
