Drinking water advisories have been put in place throughout parts of the province.
There are at least six separate warnings around Saskatchewan as of Saturday afternoon, impacting people around Elbow, Strongfield, Loreburn, Pleasantdale as well as areas around Danielson and Douglas provincial parks.
People are being told to boil water for at least one minute prior to any use, this includes for drinking purposes, washing fruits and vegetables as well as brushing teeth.
If possible, it’s recommended you use an alternative water source known to be safe for the time being.
There are no other details available at this time as to why the advisory has been put in place.
