The La Ronge RCMP has released a sketch of a man wanted in relation to a sexual assault.
A media release issued Monday said the sexual assault occurred late in the evening of June 25 on La Ronge Avenue in La Ronge.
The RCMP noted an investigation determined a teenage girl was approached by a male in a vehicle, forced inside and assaulted.
Police have been investigating the incident since it was reported and a Saskatchewan RCMP sketch artist has created a composite sketch of the suspect.
The suspect is described as potentially in his 40s or 50s, and tall with a slim build. He has brown eyes and brown, possibly greying, hair that is receding. The man is described as having a beard and sunken cheeks, possibly caused by acne scarring.
He was driving a two-door red car with a black leather interior and a broken rear window.
Anyone with information should contact their local RCMP detachment by calling 310-RCMP or by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
