8:30 – Saskatchewan’s Immigration Minister, Jeremy Harrison, met with both federal and provincial immigration ministers last week about a proposal that would give Saskatchewan more authority over immigration. According to a release from the Provincial Government, this would ” give Saskatchewan sole authority to nominate newcomers moving to Saskatchewan control over the family class of immigration.” Jeremy Harrison, Saskatchewan Immigration Minister tells us more.

12:00– Olya Illichou and Maddy Shyba worked together to craft the book “Olya and Olena Escape the Invaders.” The book follows two young Ukrainian ballet students who escape the Russian invasion of Mariupol and seek safety.
