Firefighters in Saskatoon helped bring a scary situation to a safe end on Wednesday, when a ladder truck was used to rescue a window washer who ended up suspended 40 feet above the street.
According to the fire department, the rescue happened on 19th Street East at around 11 a.m. The window washer was helped safely to the ground without injury, the fire department said in a statement, but a spokesperson could not say exactly how the man ended up dangling so far above the street in the first place.
