The warnings were put in place in the early evening and at times covered communities like Moose Jaw, Pense, Bethune, Craik, Belle Plaine and Findlater before they were lifted.
The tornado warnings were replaced by severe thunderstorm warnings for a number of centres, including Regina, Indian Head, Edgeley, Sintaluta, Kipling and Glenavon.
There also were severe thunderstorm watches in place for areas around Regina, Estevan, Weyburn, Kamsack, Canora, Melville and Yorkton.
