“We do not want to see continued violence and we do not want anyone hurt, or worse.”
Those are the words of Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations vice-chief Dutch Lerat, who in a joint media release called for those wanted in regards to a public emergency in La Ronge over the weekend to turn themselves in.
“We urge these young men to turn themselves in peacefully and seek our spirituality for traditional healing; your Family loves you and your Federation will be there for you,” Lerat added.
As a result of a continued investigation by the RCMP into the incident in La Ronge, Celine Charles, 22, of La Ronge is charged with one count of obstruction. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
The release says an investigation has determined Charles is the third, unaccounted-for female after the incident occurred in La Ronge on Sunday.
She stands 5-foot-4 and weighs 112 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She has a rose tattoo on her left hand, a heart and flame tattoo on her left arm and “Charles” tattooed on her chest.
Terrance Daigneault (also goes by Terrance Kenny), 29, of La Ronge is wanted in relation to multiple charges including two counts of attempted murder with a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous person.
Allan Sanderson, 36, of La Ronge is wanted for obstruction and unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle. Both men have not been found and police are actively looking for them.
