Emergency crews are looking for a teenager who was lost in the water near Buffalo Pound.
In a news release Saturday, police said that five teenagers were walking in the water and swimming at Barney’s Beach at about 5:30 p.m on Friday. The wind and waves swept one of them away.
As of early Sunday morning, the teenager has not been found. Police are asking people to avoid the area while the search continues.
STARS Air Ambulance, Moose Jaw Search and Rescue and Moose Jaw RCMP were on the scene to help with the search.
