9:00 – The first day of CFL camp was the first day of a work stoppage for members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. A deal wasn’t reached for a new collective bargaining agreement between the CFL and the player’s association by the deadline Sunday morning. Rider reporter Britton Gray joins John to discuss the latest with the CFLPA work stoppage.

10:00 – SaskPower is bringing new wind and solar projects online, while an older wind farm is being decommissioned. The Crown power company recently connected the province’s two largest-ever wind generation facilities to the power grid, more than doubling the province’s amount of available wind generation, but at the same time the 20-year-old wind farm in Gull Lake is set to go offline. Don Morgan, minister responsible for SaskPower, joins Gormley to tell us more about renewable power in the province, SaskPower’s goals, and what it means for the future.

11:00 -Last June, the US intelligence agency released a report stating that there had been 144 incidents where pilots identified “unexplainable phenomena.” Before the release of the report, Canada’s former defence minister Harjit Sajjan received a briefing on UFOs. Chris Rutowski, a science writer and University of Manitoba communications professional based out of Winnepeg, was asked to contribute to the briefing as a civilian advisor. Rutowski has recorded 23,000 sightings of UFOs since 1989, and he joins Gormley live today to discuss everything you need to know about UFOs.
