8:30 – According to numbers from SGI, last year police issued 523 administrative license suspensions to drivers who failed a roadside test due to drug impairment. That’s a huge increase from the 76 suspensions issued just two years prior in 2019. Staff Sergeant Patrick Barbar with the Saskatoon Police Service traffic unit is here to explain how officers test for cannabis and what some of the consequences are if you don’t pass the test.
