A 62-year-old man whom police say was known for his volunteer work in Saskatoon has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
The charges are connected to four victims who were under the age of 16 when the alleged incidents took place. Police said in a media release there may be other victims in the community.
On Friday, Eric Pohorecky was arrested after an investigation into alleged assaults that occurred between 2016 and 2017. After further investigation, charges also were filed in relation to incidents that police allege happened between 2018 and 2021.
Pohorecky is charged with four counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference.
