CAA Saskatchewan is once again looking for roads in Saskatchewan that have left tires shredded, shock absorbers broken, wheels knocked out of alignment or ankles sprained.
The annual CAA Saskatchewan Worst Roads campaign started Wednesday. It allows everyone who drives, walks, runs or rides to vote online for the worst, most unsafe roads in the province.
Voting ends April 30, with the top 10 worst roads in the province to be revealed May 2. The final list will be sent to government and business leaders in hopes of prompting some kind of action.
“The CAA Worst Roads site will include a Google Map Locater that visualizes vote distribution across the province,” the organization said in a media release. “It will pinpoint the current locations of the nominated roads that are receiving votes.”
The locater and the current top 10 will be updated weekly.
Roads usually get votes based on potholes, crumbling pavement, cracks, general disrepair, poor signage, congestion and unsafe infrastructure.
