12:00 – Canada’s men’s soccer team is on the verge of qualifying for its first World Cup since 1986. Lee Kormish is a soccer super fan from Saskatoon, and he’s been following the game since 1995. Kormish was in Costa Rica Thursday for the game where Canada suffered its first loss, falling 1-0 to the Costa Rican team. Kormish will be in Toronto on Sunday for the game against Jamaica, where Canada could clinch its entry into our second-ever World Cup. Kormish joins Gormley to tell us about his travels as a soccer super fan, and what a World Cup appearance could mean for Canadian soccer.
