Saskatoon police have arrested a man accused of pointing a gun at a stranger.
Police got a call at 7:19 a.m. on Saturday from someone who said a man walking around the 1300 block of Elliot Street pointed a gun at them.
Police responded and say the suspect tried to run away through several backyards before being arrested.
The K-9 Unit found a loaded, sawed off rifle that police say was hidden before the man was arrested.
A 33-year-old man is now facing several charges including pointing a firearm and breaching a court order.
Police said the suspect and the person who the gun was pointed at do not know each other.
