The Prince Albert Police Service says the serious incident officers responded to Tuesday morning was the discovery of a burnt body.
The body was found at the snow dump area south of the Alfred Jenkins Field House. An autopsy done Wednesday revealed the person found was 24-year-old Taya Rae Anne Sinclair of Saskatoon.
Sinclair was reported missing by the Saskatoon Police Service on Monday.
The Prince Albert Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Division and the Forensic Identification Section are investigating the incident with help from the Chief Coroner’s Office and the Saskatoon Police Service.
