8:30 – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Canada’s parliament yesterday, thanking our nation for the aid and support, but begging for NATO to implement a no-fly zone over Ukraine to put an end to the Russian airstrikes and bombing attacks that have left the country devastated and many dead. While many have been calling for the West to do more to stand up to Putin after his unprovoked attack on Ukraine, a no-fly zone is controversial as it might bring NATO forces into direct combat with Russian troops. 12:00 – A 28-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing a charge of driving while impaired by THC, causing death after allegedly hitting and killing nine-year-old Baeleigh Maurice while the girl was crossing 33rd St. E in September of 2021.
