A woman charged in connection with the death of a nine-year-old Saskatoon girl is to make her first court appearance April 12.
The 28-year-old woman is out of jail until then.
Saskatoon police allege the woman was high when the vehicle she was driving hit Baeleigh Maurice at a crosswalk on 33rd Street West on Sept. 9. A toxicology report showed the woman had THC levels that exceeded the legal limit.
Police say the investigation is not over.
