The Saskatchewan government wants to connect with doctors and patients who connected virtually over the past two years.
The government announced Tuesday it’s looking for feedback on virtual care, which became a popular tool when the province had COVID-19 public health measures in place.
“We want to hear what both patients and health-care workers have to say about their experience,” Health Minister Paul Merriman said in a media release. “And if you haven’t used virtual care, we’d like to hear about that too.
“I encourage everyone to participate as we work to shape the future of virtual care.”
The provincial government plans to use the feedback to develop a long-term strategy regarding virtual care. Patients, health-care professionals, health system partners and other organizations can provide input until April 30.
Anyone interested in providing feedback can do so here. Information also can be obtained by calling 306-787-6750 or emailing virtualcare@health.gov.sk.ca.
