An 11th count of sexual assault has been added to the list of charges against a 60-year-old man.
The RCMP filed a seventh charge of sexual assault against Cecil Wolfe, who also faces four similar charges from the Saskatoon Police Service. The Saskatoon police announced two of those charges Monday.
Investigators believe there may be more victims from over the past 20 years in the communities of Loon Lake, Blaine Lake, Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatoon and surrounding areas.
According to a media release, victims reported Wolfe was working under the “pretext of being a traditional healer or medicine man when they encountered him.”
He’s to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Wednesday.
