Police used a stun gun to arrest a 36-year-old man during what police are calling a domestic disturbance on the city’s east side on Tuesday night.
Shortly after 11 p.m., officers were dispatched to a home in the 2200 block of East Hill. Upon arrival, they witnessed a man physically assaulting a woman on the street in front of the residence.
In a release, police said the suspect, who was not sober, was hit with a conducted energy weapon after ignoring officers’ commands. Further investigation found the man had also assaulted two more people in the home.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on Wednesday to face three counts of assault and breaching conditions of his probation order.
