A Saskatoon man was arrested Monday following a standoff with police.
The 24-year-old man faces eight gun-related charges after police used a search warrant and found a sawed-off shotgun inside.
Police were called to the home on the 300 block of 29th Street West with reports of a man inside pointing a gun at people.
The Saskatoon Police Service called in the tactical support unit, the canine unit and the crisis negotiation team to assist. The man eventually left the home and was taken into custody at roughly 8 a.m.
No one was injured during the incident, and many other people inside the home were arrested on outstanding warrants.
The guns and gangs unit continues to investigate.
