It was a frosty morning in Saskatoon, and the fire department can attest to that.
Crews were called to the scene of a blaze on the 200 block of Avenue L South, just before 3 a.m.
The bungalow was showing both smoke and flames and after crews attacked the fire, they moved into the home. There, the conditions were so cold crews had to be rotated through.
The conditions were reported as feeling like -43 C, with a base temperature of -34 C.

Two people were in the home at the time of the fire. Both got out unscathed before fire crews arrived.
Damage to the home is estimated at $150,000.
