The province reported 68 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan Saturday — 10 fewer than the day before.
Active cases in the province went down to 722 on Saturday, down from 744 on Friday, as 90 recoveries were also included in the daily update from the province.
Hospitalizations also decreased in the province with six people leaving hospital for a total of 130 in Saskatchewan.
Four patients are still in Ontario, receiving out-of-province care.
A look at the numbers
The 68 new cases were reported in the Saskatoon (15), central-east (five), central-west (one) northwest (five), southeast (11), Regina (seven), north-central (eight), northeast (three), south-central (four), far northwest (six) and far northeast (six) regions.
Four new cases are pending hometown information.
Ninety-nine patients are receiving inpatient care in hospitals across Saskatchewan.
There are 33 patients in ICU: Saskatoon (17), Regina (12), central east (two), north central (one) and southwest (one).
Of the 130 patients, 106 — or 81.5 per cent — were not fully vaccinated.
Total cases in the province number 81,293. There have been 79,642 recoveries.
The seven-day average of daily new cases is 63, down one from Friday.
A total of 1,757,538 doses of COVID-19 vaccines has been given. There have been 839,359 second doses given.
A total of 1,286,102 tests have been administered in the province.
