Two men who did not return after venturing out on their snowmobiles have been found dead.
Wollaston Lake RCMP said the two left the community on Monday to get wood in the Larsen Lake area and had not returned.
After an initial investigation, RCMP found the snowmobile they were driving entered open water.
Local volunteers, RCMP, and the Canadian Rangers were searching for the men.
They were found deceased at Larsen Lake later that day.
Larsen Lake is located roughly 850 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon.
No further details including the names of the 35 and 36-year-old men have been released.
