The province reported 71 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan Thursday — 10 fewer than the day before — and one new death.
Active cases in the province number 733, down two from Wednesday, with 72 new recoveries noted. There was one new hospitalized case for a total of 134 in Saskatchewan.
Four patients are still in Ontario, receiving out-of-province care.
A look at the numbers
The 71 new cases were reported in the Saskatoon (13), central east (12), northwest (11), southeast (10), Regina (eight), north central (five), far northwest (three), northeast (three), far northeast (two), south central (two) and southwest (one) regions.
Ninety-nine patients are receiving inpatient care in the Saskatoon (36), Regina (30), central east (12), north central (seven), northwest (five), far northwest (two), south central (two), southeast (two), southwest (two), and northeast (one) zones.
There are 35 patients in ICU: Saskatoon (17), Regina (13), central east (two), north central (one), northwest (one) and southwest (one).
Of the 134 patients, 90 — just over 67 per cent — were not fully vaccinated.
Total cases in the province number 81,145. There have been 79,484 recoveries.
The seven-day average of daily new cases is 68, down four from Wednesday.
Just over 5,000 new doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, with 1,749,640 total doses given. There have been 837,198 second doses given.
A total of 1,282,024 tests have been administered in the province.
