As it stands right now, city administration is proposing a tax increase of 3.51 per cent in 2022 and 3.14 per cent in 2023, lower than the initial projection of 5.97 per cent and 5.42 percent, respectively.
For someone with a home that averages around $344,000, it means paying $67.29 per year, or $5.61 per month in 2022. In 2023, it’s slightly less at $62.33 or $5.19 a month.
