Hey there in today’s feature we’ll discuss Beef Chili.
Chili is one of my ultimate favorite comfort foods when the weather outside is below average and so easy to make. Nothing like a big ole pot of chili to warm the soul.
Start with combining 1 ½ tablespoons of chili powder into raw lean ground beef before cooking to ensure every knock and cranny is seasoned to perfection. In a large pot, brown ground beef, onion, jalapeno, and garlic. after is cooked, drain any fat.
Add in remaining ingredients of chili powder, cumin, bell pepper, can of crushed tomatoes, can of diced tomatoes, can of kidney beans drained, beef broth, tomato paste, brown sugar, & my secret ingredient, a can of beer. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 45-60 minutes or until chili has reached desired thickness. Guess what, it’s eatin time!!!
